Youth Art Month continues and it is with great pleasure I share a photo from our students work on display at the Delaware Art Museum! A handful of Colonial students, from each school, were chosen to be featured in an exhibit at the Delaware Art Museum. The work will be on display through March 29th. Youth Art Month is designed to promote art and art education in the United States. It is observed in March, with thousands of American schools participating, often with the involvement of local art museums and civic organizations. For the past 15 years, students in Delaware have been competing to design a flag celebrating Youth Art Month. The student designed flag is flown at the National Art Educator Association (NAEA) National Convention. This year’s 'Runners Up' winners in the Elementary Division are ALL from Harry O.
